January and Erik

I had such a great time with January and Erik during their Coronado Island engagement session a few months ago, and had been looking forward to their 9-10-11 wedding ever since.  Imagine Hollywood glamour with a tattooed rockabilly edge and you’ll get an idea of what this wedding was all about.  Black and white attire, vibrant red roses, and skull accessories set the mood for the day, which was a party from beginning to end.
January and Erik were married at the NTC Promenade at Liberty Station in San Diego.  The ceremony was at the North Chapel and the reception was right next door at the McMillin Event Center.

January’s red roses were such a beautiful, deep red.

Amy got some great shots of the guys before the ceremony.

You see what I mean when I say Hollywood.  January, you’re amazing.

Even the candid photos look great.

For the record, climbing to the top of the pyramid was January’s idea, not mine.  But I’m so happy she did it.  :-)

We took the girls to the Corvette Diner for a cocktail and a few photos.

Amy helped to capture some of these black and red details.

You work it lady!

January and Erik – you two are so fantastically original and it was so much fun to spend the day with you and your friends.  Thank you so much for allowing Amy and I to help capture your unique and stylish day.  It was one we definitely won’t forget!
