Kate and Tony’s spiritual celebration at Campbell Creek Ranch
Faith plays a big part in Kate and Tony’s lives, so it was important to them to incorporate their spirituality into their wedding ceremony. However, rather than opting to marry in a church building, they decided to create their own place of worship outside in nature, in a lovely meadow at Campbell Creek Ranch Estate in Alpine. Guests entered the natural sanctuary through double doors that were constructed by a family friend. Along the aisle were tablets inscribed with the words from 1 Corinthians. And at the front of the space was a huge wooden cross. The effect was perfection and the love surrounding these two in this outdoor “room” was palpable.
While Kate and Tony are certainly faithful, it would be a mistake to think for a moment that they’re stuffy in any way. These two, along with their wedding party and all of their family and guests, were so much fun. The day was filled with happy tears and a whole lot of laughter, and as you’ll see from the photos, the happy couple is simply beautiful together. What a treat to photograph such a perfectly gorgeous wedding day!
Tony and Kate – I can’t tell you how much I’ve loved working with you two. The joy on your faces in these last few reception photos says it all for me – I love seeing how much you two love each other! Dick and I are just so happy to have been able to photograph your wedding. Thank you so, so much!
